WHAT IS?
The purpose of this standard is to provide the necessary systems and processes for the improvement of
energy performance including energy efficiency, usage and consumption. This standard aims to reduce
greenhouse gas emissions and other related environmental impacts and energy costs through systematic
management of energy. Worldwide application of this standard; contributes to more efficient use of existing

WHY?
By making positive contributions to energy saving and energy efficiency and protection of energy resources, it will minimize the worldwide impact of a
problem such as global warming and ensure sustainable production.
AUTHORIZED ECONOMIC OPERATOR
WHAT IS?
Authorized Economic Operator status is an international status that provides easier customs procedures.
The AEO certification is only given to organisations that has organised recording system, traceability, financial
competence and in accordance with the safety and security standards of AEO. AEO holders can provide its
own self-control and has certain convenience and privileges in customs procedures.
Companies withCompanies with AEO status can make on-site customs clearance in exports. On-site customs clearance
of goods for export; it is based on the principle that the goods are made ready for export from the company's
own facilities and the vehicle is sealed at the company's facilities and shipped directly to the border customs
administration.
WHY?
The AEO status allows for processing on the green line, which is the line where there is no inspection of goods and document control in imports and exports.
It enables us to carry out these operations first if the document control or inspection is to be performed.
Besides, it ensures that we will be able to carry out these checks in the first instance if customs controls regarding safety and security are to be carried out.
