VEHICLE INSPECTION
AKTUR has been providing periodic vehicle inspection services at international standards under the Sub-Operation License Agreement signed in 2008 with TÜVTÜRK, the sole authorized and responsible institution for periodic vehicle inspections in Turkey. Within this scope, it is TÜVTÜRK’s largest business partner in Turkey.
With 20 fixed, 1 motorcycle, 4 mobile stations and 2 mobile tractor stations and 360 employees, AKTUR provides services in the provinces of İzmir, Manisa, Aydın and Denizli. Each year, it carries out periodic and roadworthiness inspections for approximately 1 million vehicles and exhaust gas emission measurements for around 500,000 vehicles. Including free re-inspections and determinations, the total number of inspections reaches approximately 1.4 million.
All AKTUR service activities are audited by TÜVTÜRK, the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, and other ministries. AKTUR is inspected by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) in accordance with the TS EN ISO 17020 standard and has been accredited to this standard.
Our vehicle inspection operations, which employ a total of 450 people and form part of a project that will continue until 2027, represent not only a source of prestige for our company but also a significant responsibility in terms of enabling our country to reach European standards in this field. It is a source of honor and pride for our company to have undertaken this important responsibility. All of our stations meet world standards both in terms of construction and in the knowledge and skills of their personnel.
