Akça Holding began its activities in the energy sector in 1999 with the establishment of a natural gas-fired cogeneration power plant within Menderes Tekstil, one of the Group companies. Akça Enerji and Tan Elektrik, which were established to carry out electricity generation and trading activities, merged with Menderes Tekstil in 2021. As a result, all energy sector operations have continued under the umbrella of Menderes Tekstil, which has been publicly traded since 2000, within a strong and sustainable structure..
TCurrently, with our 2 Wind Power Plants, 2 Geothermal Power Plants, combined cogeneration and rooftop Solar Power Plant, solar power plants for internal consumption, and 3 separate energy storage power plant projects with a total installed capacity of 250 MW, we aim to increase our total installed capacity to 450 MW.
