Menderes Tekstil Returned from Paris with an Award
At the TEXWORLD Fair held in Paris between February 11–14 this year, with the participation of 950 manufacturers from 27 countries, Menderes Tekstil was awarded the “Best Stand Award”. Last year, the fair hosted 14,724 professionals from 110 countries, and Menderes Tekstil’s shirting fabric collection attracted significant attention. With rich and up-to-date pattern diversity and a special fabric handle, the collection created by the Menderes design team and the English design studio received strong demand for the Spring / Summer 2019 season.

Menderes Tekstil — a production hub for global retail giants and brands —
continues to move confidently in the upper-wear sector, where it has been present for 2 years, and is now beginning to serve world-renowned brands with shirting fabrics. Vice Chairman of the Board, Ahmet Göksan, stated that the fair was highly productive and emphasized their goal: to contribute to Türkiye’s competitive strength by producing with high quality, ethical values, and on-time delivery, not only for exports but also to support domestic manufacturers who produce and export. Göksan noted that they presented 2,000 patterns at the fair and faced intense demand. He added that in the coming years, Menderes will expand its innovative and high-quality product range beyond shirting, also targeting trouser-wear categories.
